"I’m Tiah. I’ve modeled since 2001. In spite of working mostly in the high fashion market, both in Australia and overseas, I’ve always had an obsession with beautiful lingerie. This led me to connect with clients in this part of the industry, and I’ve been fortunate enough to represent such lingerie brands as Eres, Agent Provocateur and Berlei, among others. I've also amassed a collection over the years consisting of 500+ sets and individual garments, from contemporary designers to vintage and antique pieces. As a way of sharing my lingerie collection and this passion, I started a blog in 2012 called The Daily Knicker, and was one of the first lingerie bloggers to not only photograph things on myself and use my real identity, but produce independent editorial shoots. I’ve also had the pleasure and privilege of writing about lingerie for magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar and Live FAST. I enjoy the network of fellow lingerie addicts that blogging and social media has allowed me to be part of, and love nothing more than being able to introduce women to intimate apparel that makes them feel their most amazing. I live in LA with the love of my life and am a mum to two kids."

Where do you live?
Los Angeles, California
Where were you born?
Perth, Western Australia
What do you do for fun?
I have a gorgeous boyfriend and we have a 9 year old and 2 month old kids. So fun for us is usually anything with them. We are always taking them to gardens, beaches, art galleries, museums…fun for us is showing them the world and us all just being together.
What do you do for a living?
Model and blog about lingerie.
Where is your favourite holiday destination?
To be completely honest, I’ve never really taken a holiday! Due to the last-minute nature of my job and always needing to be available on short notice, I’ve only ever travelled for work. I’ve really loved Fiji, Ireland and France, for very different reasons, but would love to spend more time in Italy or Greece if I ever get the chance.
When you think of the perfect black bralette what comes to mind?
One that fits me properly, because they rarely do. Comfort, with no compromise in beauty, and the addition of a few unique aesthetic elements.
How would you recommend your black bralette to be styled?
With high-waisted skirts or bottoms. The long-line style means it could easily pass as a beautiful cropped top. I’ll probably also be layering it beneath tissue-paper-thin vintage band tees.
Do you prefer to wear the bralette as a fashion item or do you prefer it to be private?
Both. I have a soft spot for knowing that I have exquisite lingerie on beneath an unsuspecting outfit, but also enjoy the bravery and overt sensuality of 'underwear as outerwear’.
When co-designing what inspired you to choose this style and why?
I wanted to take this opportunity to create a bralette for women with busts that are larger than what fits the standard sizing. 90% of bralettes do not work on me in the standard small/medium/large the style typically comes in. So, by adding the longer line, the fuller cup, powermesh lining and the multiple back straps, I aimed to design a black bralette for women who want the comfort of one, but find they lack the necessary support.
How do you want the women who buy your bralette to feel?
I want the women who buy my bralette to feel like they are not being excluded from a trend. Like they can wear something comfortable and pretty, without having to sacrifice the support a fuller bust requires to be comfortable. And that they can be proud of their curves and know that there are people out there listening to their demands and who want to help them feel amazing when and where they can.
